About

Hi, thanks for visiting My Kitchen Chronicles!

Diana here, and I was once a pitiful 18 year old living in the dorm who didn’t know how to use a handheld can opener. At that point, I was determined that if I am going to eat all my life without my mom cooking for me, I am going to learn and feed myself some good food while I’m at it!

My cooking philosophy is simple:  I want food on the table fast with minimal effort. I have very little patience and time (you can probably tell by the way I write!). I’m not going to slave all day making something. I value efficiency. Whether it’s a stir-fry that requires your full attention for a few minutes, a claypot or a sheet pan that you sit around waiting as it cooks on its own, or dumplings that you freeze to eat many meals for weeks to come, they are meant to save time and/or energy while being super enjoyable as you consume them.

I appreciate you taking the time to check out my blog. Hopefully, this will be a resource for your cooking adventures.
